Drive time from Washington and Baltimore is 2 hours or less.  Philadelphia is 2.5 hours.  The nearest airport is Baltimore-Washington International (BWI), about 1.5 hours by car.

To reach Martins Point from the west, take US 50 east across the Bay Bridge and then turn south where it splits with US 301.  About five miles after Easton, look for milepost 71, Sanderstown Rd.  Turn left there and proceed to the third stop sign where Sanderstown Rd ends.  Turn right there at Island Creek Rd and then left where the road splits to follow South Side Island Creek Rd.   After 3 miles the road makes a hard right just in front of white gates that open into the lane for Martins Point.  Turn into the lane and follow it for a mile past the barns to it's end where you will find the house.
